Renaissance Credit launches a new investment service

20 Jan 2021

Renaissance Credit has developed and launched a new mobile service - Investments. It provides clients of the bank with quick and convenient access to exchange-traded instruments and transactions on the stock and foreign exchange markets.

The new functionality is available within the mobile bank application. Using the service, the clients of the bank can trade on the Moscow Stock Exchange, implement transactions with securities issued by Russian and foreign companies, rouble-denominated bonds, buy and sell currencies at stock market prices.

Clients of the bank can open a broker account on the main page of Renaissance Credit’s mobile bank using the appropriate link. The process takes just several minutes and does not require any additional documents. The broker account can be replenished free of change, there is no monthly fee for servicing the account. Further details are available on the website of the bank.

The service is very easy to use. To make a transaction one just has to specify the required amount of securities. The service will protect the users from making non-arm's length transactions - before conclusion, each transaction is automatically checked to ensure the price specified in the application is up-to-date.

The user interface of the Investment page in the mobile bank has been developed in a way which would ensure that the presented information is easy to understand and access. Clients can see the financial result of their operations, information regarding the evolution of prices for the stock-exchange instruments, consensus-forecasts for the shares, as well as the state of their portfolio - including the schedules of coupon and dividend repayments. A dedicated news block with real-time update helps to stay informed about the recent events on the market.

Comment by Tatyana Khondru, First Deputy Chairman, Senior Vice-President for Development of Retail and Investment Business of Renaissance Credit: “In the conditions when the interest on bank deposits falls down while the stock market grows, the possibility to invest into stock-traded instruments becomes more and more attractive. Investments represent an evident alternative to familiar deposits, and this alternative gradually becomes a more customary part of our clients’ life. That is why Renaissance Credit took the decision to develop the new business line and offered its clients a convenient service to access the stock and currency exchange markets.”
